Since his firm opened in 2013, he has helped clients from all over the country realize justice in Virginia courts.

Biography

Matthew Stewart didn't grow up wanting to be a lawyer. After graduating with a degree in civil engineering from Virginia Tech, he worked as a land developer and a highway contractor before he learned he could do more good by helping those without a voice fight for justice.

He discovered that he could help his future clients as a litigator, or trial attorney, while he was still a law student. He earned awards from organizations both in and out of law school while developing his skills as a trial lawyer.

In 2013, he opened his own law firm, which has grown steadily each year as more satisfied clients get the word out that an aggressive and knowledgeable attorney is available and open for business in central Virginia.

It took just a few short years in business for Mr. Stewart to begin earning victories for clients in all types of cases. He has represented clients from all over the United States in matters ranging from criminal to personal injury to custody matters. He has successfully defended rape, robbery, and murder, and argued and won in the Supreme Court of Virginia.
